Found this service by recommendation. He came to the house within an hour of contact and had diagnosed and fixed the significant problem in a classic old car in not much longer. Then took on an annoying longterm issue with the radio aerial. He discovered the problem and repaired, not replaced, the original part at home that night. Service and skill like this is very rare. Cannot recommend him too highly.

I contacted Phil having read the excellent reviews I had issues with both key fobs not functioning correctly after me replacing both batteries,and not able to start my Subaru & after me attempting to reprogram the security car alarm code myself the car alarm started and removal of the battery terminal prevented neighbours getting to upset I asked Phil the cost he was totally honest and stated £75 call out & £45 per hour he arrived was very friendly indeed & I felt comfortable & that means a lot to me I supplied the cup of coffee & Kipling cakes He got straight on with the work after the hour he had finished he explained everything he had done & that unfortunately as he had to break out the computer to reprogram the two key fobs & the cost to update his computer was over £600 pound a year, so he would need an additional £20 on top on his original price & without an invoice he could get it to £140 cash that’s what I paid & i am happy and I’m mobile again ,I would not hesitate to recommend Phil he came out to me on a Saturday afternoon after phoning him the same day & only having the car issues on the Friday afternoon that’s what I call five star service cheers Phil

Attempted to repair an issue with a power steering fault on my car. Sometimes took days to even get a reply/arrange an appt. Even admitted he had forgotten about the job originally. A few hours work was eventually carried out but now the warning light still comes on. Attempted to contact Phil again to try and look at the issue but completely ignored my texts. Obviously doesn’t want to do the job or doesn’t know what’s wrong. Instead of informing me to try somewhere else he has left me in the lurch. No receipt or invoice provided upon completion of the work originally carried out. Avoid at all costs. Totally unprofessional

Excellent really new his stuff and he sorted and repaired my wiper motor. Has a nice and relaxed manner and he is very professional. Most importantly he kept me updated on what he found and how he was going to fix it. Completed various tests before putting everything back together. Would recommend his services and his realistic prices to anyone.
