Phenomenal service from JC Autos this afternoon. First time using them, I called with an oil leak on my civic. Within 2 hours of leaving my car, they’d found the problem, let me know, fixed it and had it ready to collect. It was just.. easy. Fuss free and problem sorted. Won’t be the last time I use them for sure.

i have made JC auto repairs my official best mechanic to go to, I had a pre-mot few days ago got told what work was needed to carry out and gave me a quote on the spot there and then,done the job in couple hours,today i have passed with no advisories! please dont be fooled for few stupid reviews Jamie is a petrol head himself and the work speak for itself no one is perfect...but i dont think nobody would work for free either. The garage where i took the cat for mot asked if they could buy the car as it was well looked after. Thanks mate!

I rang up JC Auto repair as my car was making a concerning noise and my car was fixed within a few hours of dropping it off, the next morning. Jamie rang me up and let me know exactly what needed fixing and the price before doing it. I’ve never taken my car to such a speedy mechanic before and it’s driving perfectly now. Having never been before I will now take all of my car needs here :). Thanks!

Had to have a new Gearbox fitted and these were the most reasonably priced, so sent it in to be done and the turn around time was very quick, which we were grateful for. However, the day after the repair, whilst on the motor way, our speedometer stopped working. We contacted a different garage in our home town who told us the speedometer is fitted to the gearbox and so we assumed that it would be an issue relating to the previous repair, as our car has never had any speedometer issues in the nearly 3 years we've had it. We took our car back in to JC Autos for them have another look at, and a few hours later were told the repairs were done (before consulting us about the price of the extra repair) for £75 on top of the payment we already made last week for the gear box. I wouldn't mind, but when the engineer told us that our old wiring was faulty, so he ordered a new part and fitted it, we asked for the old wiring back so that we had proof that it was faulty. On the phone to me, immediately after he had done the repairs, he told us he would try and get the old wiring back out of the bin. We collected the car 5 minutes after this phone call and by some incredible coincidence the bin men had just been and taken the bin that had our 'old faulty wiring in'. So we have just paid to have works done that seem incredibly likely to be caused by previous work, and no proof of what we have been told, and have subsequently paid for.... We won't be using this garage again due to a slight concern about honesty...
