The alternator feeding the 240 volt AC supply on my narrowboat had failed. Having an engineering background myself, I removed it and examined it to find the cause of the failure, this turned out to be beyond my skills to fix. I sent photos to Cox's and they have quoted a fair price to refurbish the unit, which I shall have done in the New Year, not requiring use of it currently. They also identified it as a unit they had refurbished about 11 years ago, which, helpfully gave me a base line as to expected service life in the future. Pleasant people to deal with. EDIT at 25/04/22 Repairs completed promptly once delivered to Cox's. A problem arose when I was to collect, I was to borrow a car from my daughter, which broke down a couple of days ago. A quick call to Cox's to check cost of return by courier and return was made today in one of their own van's at a very fair price. Thank you Ken and the team for all your help! A proper business with a hands on approach, highly recommended!

Quite literally, the definitive authority on servicing and repairing TravelPower Generators. Ken and the whole team know their stuff. I took my knackered 7kw unit. Within only three days, the whole unit was totally refurbished, repainted, and with a very decent warranty. It was expensive, however significantly cheaper than buying a new unit (which simply doesn't exist), and the general servicing every five years is much cheaper, mine was completely shattered.

Took my Grandsons 36 volt Quad bike there after fault occurred. Amazing service , Lee looked at it told me what part to order, which I have now fitted and its burst back into life. I will definitely use again and recommend.
