Do I have to pay for my repair now or can I pay after the job is completed?
You can pay for your repair before or after the job is completed. It is completely up to you. Simply proceed with the checkout process and, on the final stage, select your payment method: credit/debit card, PayPal or pay by phone.
Should you prefer to pay for the repair after the job is completed, you can select the second option (pay by phone).
We will let you know by text message and / or email when the repair is completed so that you can proceed to payment by telephone; please provide a mobile telephone number if possible.
Please note that if you select payment by phone your turnaround time may be delayed until payment is processed.
Payment by phone is only available for domestic and European customers, apologies for any inconvenience.

Sadly my ecu was damaged beyond repair. They did all they possibly could to help.
It was tested twice. I got all my money back which is more than I expected as someone wasted plenty of time trying to fix my part.
The postage is very quick. Communication with a customer is on the highest level.

Mike Farrell2 StarMy Volvo V40 ECU was sent to this company after reading they could test, Diagnose and repair/replace ECUs and return them loaded with the configuration data from my original ECU. I gave the company a written document outlining what my issue was:- Crank no start, ignition ok, injectors not firing but injectors tested and okay.
The company did reply promptly to confirm receipt of the ECU. They then sent me a message to say they couldn't test the ECU due to my cars variant, despite me sending details of the ECU. They offered to replace the ECU with a secondhand unit and configure it as per my original for £336 but advised me that no guarantee was offered with the unit if it didn't fix the injector issue. I elected to have the unit returned to me which they did the next day.
After speaking to other ECU repairers it is my feeling that testing and diagnosing ECU faults in a workshop is unlikely due to the ECU numerous input requirements from the likes of the cars immobiliser and other critical inputs. Therefore buyer beware, you may be just buying an expensive second hand ECU that has been loaded with your ECU'S software, but with no guarantees of a fix for your car's fault.
I gave 2* for the prompt attention and return. Couldn't give any more as the exercise wasted my time and money.Friday 26th April 2024
Richard Harrison5 StarWe used Autotronics last week to repair two rover 75 key fobs that had perished so badly that the fobs could not be used. We happened to be in Leicester visiting family last week and decided to drop the keys into the shop direct. The old keys were quickly accessed and repaired on the spot and they now work perfectly. We were delighted with the service we received and would have no hesitation in recommending this company for their prompt and very efficient service.Monday 13th June 2022
J T1 StarAfter sending ecu, I recieved a phone call 2 days later to inform me they couldn't find anything wrong with the ecu but the engineer said he will do more tests on it the next day and I will be called and informed of the outcome. So I waited the following day but no communication so called the day after and I was still told the engineer is yet to do more tests and I will definitely recieve a call the following day. That call never came so I called the following day and I was told the engineer definitely couldn't find anything wrong with it and they are happy to send it back to me however I will need to pay for their services before they can send it back. I was shocked as prior to sending it to them I called and I was told there will only be a charge if they find an issue with the ecu and they are able to fix it. The lady asking for the payment when I said this is what i was told also confirmed that this is the case so I asked then why I'm i been charged. I was put on hold and then more hold. After about 15mins she came back on the phone and said she's been told that she should definitely charge before the ecu is sent. She also said she will send their terms and conditions which apparently states that there is a charge in this instance so i reluctantly paid £94.33. I am yet to recieve this terms and conditions and its been atleast 3 weeks now. Shameful. Absolutely shamefulFriday 8th March 2024
